Kainalu XT, Air Tahiti Nui, Tahiti Tourisme, Air Tahiti and Hawaiki Nui, Hossegor Paddle Games and TotalSUP have joined forces to give two watermen / women the chance to compete in the 2018 Watermana set in beautiful French Polynesia.
The Watermana, previously known until last year as Ironmana – Bora Bora Liquid Festival, is a week-long series of multi-disciplinary and extreme endurance event all set in the beautiful islands and lagoons of French Polynesia. The Watermana is the grand finale of the Waterman Tahiti Tour season and also The Waterman World Tour organized by Kainalu XT. The dates for this incredible Watermana series are the 26th November and it runs until the 2nd December 2018.

If you think you are a real waterman / woman
If you dream of going to Tahiti.
If you are motivated and have a good SUP, paddleboard and swimming level.
If you are taking part in the Hossegor Paddle Games on the 22nd, 23rd, and 24th June 2018.
Then you have a chance to compete in the Watermana 2018 as a guest of Air Tahiti Nui and Tahiti Tourism. The prize includes a complete stay with flights and accommodation (estimated value: 3000 €). (Note that registration fees, food, equipment, and transport of equipment, etc. costs are not included, these could be approximately 400 €)
How to be selected……
Write a letter describing your reasons why you want to compete and be sure to include details of your life as waterman. (after making sure you are available for the dates the Watermana 2018) Send this letter to mathieu@totalsup.combefore Thursday, June 21 at midnight. This is an obligatory part of the selection!
Participate in the Hossegor Paddle Games in the Elite or Open category. Where you will demonstrate your ability to surpass and push yourself to the limits.
Warning! The two selected candidates are not just seleccted on their results at the Hossegor Paddle Games but on their Attitude, Motivation and Aptitude during the event. These 3 values ​​constitute the base of any Tahitian waterman, the now famous slogan “Go Deeper”. The jury is made up of the Tahitian athlete and Air Tahiti Nui ambassador Puatea Ellis and Mathieu Astier, founder of TotalSUP.com. They will reveal the names of the two winners at the Hossegor Paddle Games awards ceremony on the 24th June.
