Welcome to Barrachou Paddle! A stand up paddleboarding tour and rental brand born on the beautiful French coast bringing the outdoors experience to everyone. Barrachou Paddle gives you a front-row seat to some of the most breathtaking views of Guissény and Plouguerneau in North West Finistere, France.

 

Are you ready to discover the beauty of Guissény and its coastline?  We will show you the paddlers the real France, from the hidden inlets to offshore secret islands.Barrachou Paddle is based out of Guissény where paddlers can enjoy one of the most amazing flatwater locations with lots of wildlife in crystal clear waste-deep water.

Guissény is in the heart of the Cotes des Legendes, with beautiful azur seas, and rocky coastline, this is the perfect place to explore the true France, by kayak, stand up paddle board or just by the famous coastal path, the GR35. Barrachou Ocean Paddling centre was formed by Helen Trehoret. A qualified kayak and paddle instructor. Barrachou paddle is based around developing confidence and promoting paddle sports in the region. We offer onsite paddle holidays, kayaking, SUPn, wave ski, surfski, we have it all! Owner, Helen Trehoret will be on hand to guide you through the Cotes Des Legendes, from stunning day trips to magical sun set paddle. Owner Helen will use her deep knowledge of the area to make it a truly memorable holiday! Locations include jewell in the crown, Stagadon, an island found in the local archipelgo, or maybe we will explore Phare Pontsuval, or cruise by the mason de guard, a house built in between two boulders! Finistere is truly unique. Come and Explore!

We will tailor your iternary to suit you! We can welcome full board packages, offering all equipment, transport and guide. All you will need to do is get yourself to Brest. We can also welcome SUP and Surfski clubs, bring your club for your annual club training, or your winter downwind training sessions! We know all the best spots that offer protection or offer the best down winds in Europe!

We also have Ty Barrachou our Paddle camp Accommadation! Accomating up to 12 paddles. You can be truly immerse yourself in the Finistere paddle scene!

The fun doesn’t end there! Barrachou Paddle extends its trips to Scotland, offering wilderness SUP adventures to a number of locations in the highlands. Reconnect and Recharge with Barrachou Paddle!
