SUP11 Islands Koh Chang Thailand

SUP11 Islands is a multi-day stand-up paddle adventure starting on the second biggest island of Thailand – Koh Chang. Paddle across open sea, hop from island to island, and challenge yourself with long-distance days, while everything else is taken care of. Just paddle, recover, and enjoy paradise.

About the event

Based on the SUP 11-City Tour in The Netherlands, SUP11 X was created by Ritske Merkus and Marije Elgersma with the aim of making multi-day racing accessible to all.

During the SUP11 Islands adventure around the Thai islands, you’ll paddle an average of 25 km per day. As this is an open sea journey with changing conditions and potential wind, prior paddling experience is essential – ideally in choppy water or on larger lakes.

You should feel confident handling your board in rougher conditions, and with the daily distances involved, a solid level of endurance is key.

Please note: it will be hot. Plenty of water and fresh coconuts are available at every break and on the safety boats.
This trip is suitable for experienced recreational paddlers, not beginners.

What to expect:

• On the first day, paddle from one side of Koh Chang to the other
• During the remaining four days, enjoy island hopping. Fresh coconuts and a light lunch will be available at every break
• After each day’s paddling, enjoy free time on the islands – snorkelling, relaxing, or even more paddling.

Board rental

With our local partners, we can offer: Board + paddle: € 350,-
All boards provided are hard-boards and suitable for open-water paddling.

Full board & accommodation

You are registered for SUP11 Islands with full board (excluding alcoholic drinks) and including accommodation.
Hotels are arranged from the day before registration (Monday) until the Monday after the event, so you can enjoy a final good night’s sleep after finishing the event on Sunday.

Full board starts from the registration day of the event, so it excludes the first night. There are several smaller restaurants within walking distance of Marina Sands, so you can enjoy a nice local dinner on your first evening.

The +1 Experience

Join the journey (no paddling required)

If someone convinced you to tag along during the SUP11 Islands in Thailand, we want to make sure you have a great time too. Here are a few highlights of the +1 experience:

On the first and last paddling day, you’ll have the option to travel over land or by sea. On the other days, you’ll be on a comfortable boat where you can enjoy the weather, read a book, and cheer on your friend or partner who’s paddling.

If you register as a +1, this includes accommodation and full board (excluding alcoholic drinks).

It’s a great way to join your friend or partner. We’re sure you’ll have an amazing time!

Refund policy & cancellations

• Until September 15th, 2026: 100% refund
• September 16th – October 15th, 2026: 50% refund
• October 16th – November 1st, 2026: 25% refund
• After November 1st, 2026: 0% refund
• For cancellations, a €50 administration fee applies.
