Organized by the Danish Surf & SUP federation, the Volkswagen SUP City Tour is a summer circuit dedicated to promoting SUP racing throughout Denmark, culminating in the Copenhagen Paddle Festival, Copenhagen SUP and the 2024 ISA World SUP & Prone Paddleboard Championship in Copenhagen on September 16 – 22. This vibrant and free series of events invites everyone to experience the thrill of SUP racing and enjoy a range of related activities.
Participants can get a brief introduction to SUP techniques and hit the water with the “Try SUP” activity, where experienced instructors will teach the basics. Compete in the Speed Challenges to set the fastest time of the day, learn your first buoy turn, and take part in the SUP quiz on land for a chance to win tickets to the Copenhagen SUP event.
The tour also features side activities like a balance board and live music, fostering a relaxed and fun atmosphere. With umbrellas, beach chairs, and snacks from Rawbite, you can unwind and enjoy the day while participating in the activities or taking a break in the shade. This event promises an unforgettable SUP experience filled with competitions, learning opportunities, and lots of good vibes.
