Paddle Logger, the popular iOS app designed for paddlers, has announced the launch of French and
German language support, further expanding its accessibility alongside English and Spanish.
Now, even more paddlers can track their adventures and stay safe on the water in their native language.
Already a go-to app for stand up paddle boarders, kayakers, and canoeists, Paddle Logger helps users log their sessions, analyse their paddling performance, and share their experiences on the water – all through an intuitive, easy-to-use interface. With this latest update, paddlers across France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, parts of Canada and other French- and German-speaking regions can now enjoy the app in their native language.
David Walker, Founder and CEO of Paddle Logger said: “With many of our paddlers tracking their sessions throughout Europe, adding French and German made sense as it allows more people to engage with the app in a way that feels natural to them, helping them make the most of their time on the water.”
The new language support makes it even simpler for users to take advantage of Paddle Logger’s features. From GPS route tracking and analysing stats, to adding notes, sorting sessions by different crafts, and making the most of the automated safety and route planning features.
Safety remains at the heart of Paddle Logger, and that’s why PaddleLIVE®, the app’s real-time tracking and emergency alert system, is now also available in French and German, alongside Spanish, and English. This feature allows paddlers to set emergency contacts who receive updates while they’re out on the water, providing extra peace of mind for solo paddlers and their loved ones. PaddleLIVE® also includes native integration with what3words, allowing users to share precise locations in case of an emergency.
One of Paddle Logger’s standout features is PaddlePLAN®, an advanced route plotting tool designed to help paddlers plan their adventures with confidence. Whether exploring new waterways or refining a training route, users can map out their journey directly within the app, ensuring a smoother and safer paddling experience. Recognised for its innovation, PaddlePLAN® was highlighted during Apple’s Keynote in September 2024, showcasing its seamless integration with Apple technology and its value to paddlers worldwide.
With this latest update, Paddle Logger continues its mission to support the global paddling community. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just getting started for fun, the app makes it easier than ever to track your adventures, stay safe, and join the community. The updated version of Paddle Logger is available now on the App Store, with full language support for French, German, Spanish, and English.
