Sneak Peek Season 3 Guests
With the season being released next week we figured we could provide you with a sneak peek at some of the first few guests…
In the realm of ultra-long-distance stand-up paddle boarding, Greg Wingo stands as a pioneering force, being the race director for two remarkable events in the USA: the Great Alabama 650 and the Last Paddler Standing. Holly and Maddi had a remarkable discussion with Greg about the races he is directing in 2025, and what he hopes to see for the future stand up paddling endurance racing.
A young remarkable stand up paddling athlete from Switzerland with many accolades beside her name, Anna sat down with Holly and Maddi to share some of her most recent challenges she has been facing, including taking a step back from the competitive racing scene to deal with REDS. Her perseverance through this demanding time of her life, teaches us how it is so incredibly important as athletes that we take care of our health first and foremost, including mind, body, and spirit.
In 1996 at the age of 27 Dean was officially diagnosed as “legally blind” specifically with Rod and Cone Dystrophy. It is a rare condition, and not a lot is known about it. Instead of sitting at home and moping about his unpredictable future, Dean turned to extreme sports to continue living his life to the fullest. Holly and Maddi had the honour to learn more about how Dean’s has transformed his life on the water, and how his competition went competing in the prone paddleboard category at the ISA World Championships in Denmark in 2024. Dean’s Scottish laughter is absolutely infectious, and his positive spirit will be sure to have listeners captured the entire time!
That’s all for now! Be sure to tune in TODAY for the launch of the first episode, and subscribe so you don’t miss the rest!

Since then Paddle Logger has continued to improve their functionality so that the app is simple, effective and, ultimately, improves your experience on the water. Their small team has gradually expanded and they even have regular meet-ups in person these days! Plus they were able to develop an awesome podcast and a whole load of passionate advocates who helped spread the word.
