Kaede Inoue and Benoit Carpentier Claim 2022 APP SUP Surf World Title in Gran Canaria

The 2022 Gran Canaria Pro Am Finals Day, first and only stop of the 2022 APP SUP Surf World Tour had it all. On day 4 and in front of a huge crowd at El Lloret, 17-year-old Kaede Inoue from Japan claimed the World Title on her debut on tour, only 3 days after winning the Junior world title. Starboard sensation and 2019 ISA World Champion Benoit Carpentier from France gets a well-deserved first APP World Tour title, at the end of a high-octane season during which he has been collecting podiums. And we witnessed a fleet of world-class surfers charge El Lloret at its very best in pristine 10 foot waves.
It was a day to remember in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
