One of the biggest SUP Race events in the US and in the world, the Carolina Cup took place last week-end in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. A few international athletes who had been pretty discreet since the kick-off the season, took the opportunity to show they were just training hard !

Dave Kalama's inspirational speech was one of the most expected moments of the Carolina Cup week-end. The Hawaiian waterman gave a 10 minute speech on the reasons for not quitting recounting one of his hardest times on the water during the 2009 Molokai race.
