Korean Association of Paddling Professionals, a subsidiary of the APP) proudly announced the creation of the K-SUP Cup, a set of SUP competitions and festivals aimed at developing the discipline and increasing its accessibility to everyone around Korea.
In 2024, the K-SUP Cup will combine two events that will not only see paddlers coming from all around the country, but will welcome paddlers from all the Asian region and beyond.
From initiation and introduction to the discipline of SUP for first-timers and beginners, to races for the younger generation, amateurs, and up to the Elite category, the K-SUP Cup offers everyone regardless of their level and skills, the opportunity to enjoy SUP and meet the community in the beautiful locations that are Gangneung and Danyang.
Taking place on June 8th and 9th in Gangneung, on the pine trees lined-up beach of Songjeong, the K-SUP Cup Gangneung will be the first of the two K-SUP Cup events and the beautiful city of Danyang, with its river surrounded by the mountains, will be the backdrop for the second part of the K-SUP Cup on August 3rd-4th.
Both competitions will be part of marine festivals that will provide additional excitement for families and friends with activities and experience programs as well as entertainment with busking and dance performances.
