On Saturday January 29, follow the 11th edition of Ze Race 2022 the French Caribbean 40k Downwinder using the GPS tracker below. Every year, the French Island of Guadeloupe in the French West Indies, hosts one of the longest downwind races in the world, 50 to 55k until last year. For the 2022 edition, the multi-craft race is reduced to a 40k downwinder between the “Pointe des Châteaux” on the East-side of the island and the harbor of Pointe-à-Pitre, the Guadeloupean capital. Some of the best world paddlers in surfski, sup foil, sup race and outrigger canoes coming from the French mainland but also from New Caledonia, South Africa, the USA will take part this year!
