Cecilia Pampinella and Bruno Hasulyo win the 2022 Namur SUP Race

The 11th edition of the 2022 Namur SUP Race, the oldest SUP Race in Belgium and the longest-running SUP event of the Eurotour, was a great success with the highest participation to date. The sun was shining at The Flow by Charlie’s Club, the watersports center at the heart of the event and the expected rain held off.

Cecilia Pampinella in full control

On the women’s side, the top 3 athletes rapidly broke away from the pack. However, it was the young Cecilia Pampinella who controlled and led the trio for the entire race.
Dutch champion Petronella Van Malsen came in second, followed by the up-and-coming Swiss racer Anna Tschirky in third. Further back, another Dutch rider, Frouke Wichgers finished in 4th with Czech paddler Michala Hendrichova closing the Top5.
