This week sees the first edition of the European Championships happening in Lacanau. Starting with the Opening Ceremony yesterday, today was dedicated to the Men’s and Women’s Technical Race. The race took place on Lacanau Central Beach in tough racing conditions with a “moderate-to-strong” onshore wind and some small waves breaking on a shorebreak.

Hosting the event, the French team didn’t hide their ambitions to win both the team championships and all the individual categories at this event.
