Supported by the Municipality of Copenhagen, both the ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championships and Copenhagen SUP aim to provide locals and visitors alike with an unforgettable experience while showcasing the city on a global stage.

“Copenhagen boasts one of the world’s cleanest harbors, and that’s something we’re immensely proud of,” says Mia Nyegaard, Mayor of Culture and Leisure. “I hope to see many Copenhageners and visitors alike participating, whether on the water or cheering from the shores, as we come together to create a truly memorable festival.”

Copenhagen, European SUP  Capital

With its unique blend of elite competition and mass participation, Denmark’s hosting of the ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championship for the second time solidifies Copenhagen’s status as Europe’s SUP capital.

Lars Lundov, CEO of Sport Event Denmark, expresses his delight: “It’s remarkable for a country as small as Denmark to host the ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championship twice. Building on the success of seven years ago, Copenhagen SUP with its 1,000 participants adds another chapter to Denmark’s reputation as a premier destination for water sports.”
