We are shocked and deeply saddened to learn and announce the death of Sophia Tiare Bartlow who passed away on Saturday following a car accident in Waialua, Oahu at the age of 25.
The daughter of longboarding champion Jericho Poppler, Sophia was a fun-loving person as well as a world-class longboard and SUP Surf athlete.
After winning the US SUP Tour in 2014, Sophia became a top Stand Up World Series competitor and had big plans for 2017.
Sophia was very active in the promotion of stand up paddle, as you can see on her Youtube and Instagram channels below.
