NSP 2026 Race Range: Purposeful Evolution That Wins World Titles

With six world titles collected across the ISA World Championships in El Salvador and the ICF World Championships in Abu Dhabi, NSP enters 2026 with one clear message: purposeful evolution works! Not reinvention. Not marketing hype. Just athlete-driven refinement, tested under the pressure of real racing, and validated on podiums around the world.

Across both World Championships, NSP athletes delivered a dominant presence in the medal tables, collecting an impressive tally of Top-5 finishes across all disciplines:

* ISA: Technical Race 6, Long Distance 1, Sprint 2
* ICF: Technical Race 5, Long Distance 8, Sprint 6

Across genders, age groups, and disciplines, one pattern remained unmistakable: The 2026 NSP range performs everywhere!

Refinement, Not Reinvention – The 2026 Vision

NSP’s R&D philosophy has stayed consistent: follow the data, trust athlete feedback, and test prototypes under the exact conditions athletes race in. For 2026, that meant:

* subtle rocker tuning
* adjusted rail profiles
* redistributed volume
* more responsive underfoot dynamics

No radical redesign. No high-risk experiments. Just targeted improvements validated by the world’s best paddlers, often under championship pressure.

The Boards Behind the Medals

Carolina & Carolina EVO – Confidence in All Conditions

A proven platform in surf, bumps, chop, and mixed environments, the Carolina line remains NSP’s all-conditions benchmark, now further strengthened by increased bow volume for better downwind lift, refined rail angles that reduce drag, and a lowered standing tray that improves leverage during accelerations.

* ISA Technical Race World Champion Christian Andersen selected the Carolina EVO 14×22”, choosing a slightly wider model for El Salvador’s powerful swell. The increased stability allowed him to “fully focus on technique and the conditions”, a decision that delivered him the world title.
* ISA Long Distance World Champion Duna Gordillo rode the Carolina 14×20.5”, a board she has perfected over years of racing.
She described it as “the perfect board for all conditions… especially for buoy turns, where it helps me lift the nose more effectively.”
* NSP athletes, including Inés Blin, Sveva Sabato, Claudia Postiglione, Alexia Soto, Ruben Cantoral, and Antonio Morillo, added multiple Top-5 results across ISA technical and Long Distance, confirming the Carolina’s relevance for both developing and elite paddlers.

Ninja & Ninja EVO – Flatwater Precision at the ICF Worlds

Abu Dhabi’s flatwater conditions showcased the Ninja lineage at its absolute best, with the latest EVO updates, deep sunken cockpit for enhanced stability and efficient stroke mechanics, reduced tail rocker for smooth, sustained glide, and a narrow, precision-focused outline that maximizes straight-line speed — amplifying its championship-winning characteristics.

* ICF Sprint World Champion Sergio Cantoral rode the Ninja EVO 20”, discovering that the lower volume model increased, rather than decreased, his ability to generate power.
* ICF Junior Long Distance silver medallist Zénó Szabó highlighted the Ninja’s effortless glide: “It feels like it maintains speed almost by itself.”
* ICF Masters 50+ Long Distance World Champion Penny Tsaoutou selected the Ninja 22’’ (2026) and praised its reliable handling and smooth performance in shifting winds and currents.
* Additional confirmation of the Ninja’s versatility came from ICF Junior Technical Race bronze medallist Velia Pisanelli, who used the Ninja 14×21 (2023) and praised its balance and turning speed: “Perfect for buoy turns, it doesn’t slow down. I might go narrower next season.”

Cheetah – Explosive Power for Short-Format Racing

Designed for pure speed and immediate responsiveness, the Cheetah again proved its strengths in the ISA Sprint.

* Sergio Cantoral selected the Cheetah 21 for the ISA Sprint, calling it “exceptionally responsive”. After a fall, the board’s rapid acceleration minimized his time loss and carried him back onto the podium.

For tight surf starts, aggressive buoy turns, and short-format sprint racing, the Cheetah remains NSP’s pure power platform.

Puma – Stability When the Surf Demands It

The Puma has long been known as NSP’s stable raceboard for surf and technical racing, a reputation reinforced by its 2026 refinements, more progressive nose rocker for precise control in chop, higher mid-section volume for secure buoy turns, and confidence-inspiring handling in surf transitions.

* ISA Junior Technical Race silver medallist Inés Blin trusted the Puma for its balance and predictability in surf transitions. Even after an early fall, she came back through the field and connected with a clean final wave to secure silver, exactly the type of scenario where the Puma’s stability shines.

A Range Validated Across Flatwater and Surf

Complementing the hardboard range, NSP’s Vivace carbon paddle supported multiple podium performances, while the refined 2026 Pro Carbon construction continued to demonstrate durability, responsiveness, and consistent high performance under the intensity of world championship racing, proving that NSP’s 2026 range delivers in every condition, from flatwater to ocean swells.
