Following the early September launch of the new Airline range, Starboardhas now released its latest SUP lineup. This new collection features refined shapes, upgraded constructions, and fresh designs across both hardboards and inflatables.
From high-performance surf shapes like the all-new TwinFin with Acute Custom Carbon construction, to improved inflatable racing boards featuring the Quick Tension System, each model is designed for enhanced speed, control, and fun. Let’s dive right in!
What’s new in iSUP? Starboard Airline Technology gets an upgrade: Introducing the new Quick Tension System
Starboard’s patented Airline Technology features a tensioned aramid cord running from nose to tail, reinforced by a carbon stringer. This innovative design delivers consistent stiffness for energy-efficient paddling, a smooth glide with minimal drag thanks to the teardrop-shaped fin box, and a responsive rebound that ensures precise control and manoeuvrability.
With this upgrade, paddlers can now inflate the board and fine-tune the tension after inflation, lock it in place for maximum performance, and easily adjust the hook settings for a fully customised setup.
The Starboard Airline Range is available in two high-performance inflatable race models:
Starboard Sprint: Built for flat-water speed, available in 24” and 25.5” widths with Deluxe Construction. Featuring a narrow nose that cuts cleanly through the water and a centre of balance positioned just behind the midpoint, the Sprint delivers exceptional acceleration and precise stiffness for maximum performance.
Starboard All Star:Designed for racing in all conditions, offered in 24.5”, 26”, and 28” widths with Deluxe Construction. Sharing the core outline of the composite race board, the All Star is equipped with EVA Standing Side Trays for added control and stability when rail steering or tackling choppy waters.
Both models include Edge Release Technology for drag reduction, beach start carry handles, and FCS mounts for tracking devices – making them the go-to choice for paddlers chasing serious performance.
What’s new in SUP hardboards?
The latest Starboard SUP hardboards feature refined shapes, improved constructions, and thoughtful updates across all categories. The Surf range has been adjusted for better performance, speed, and flow – highlighted by the all-new TwinFin and the introduction of Acute Custom Carbon construction, now available on popular models like the Spice and Pro.
The Limited Series construction also receives a refreshed look and is now extended to include the Go Surf, Whopper, Wedge, Spice, TwinFin, Pro, and Longboard Surf models, combining solid performance with good value.
SUP race boards:
Starboard’s 2026 race lineup continues to set the benchmark for performance and innovation across every condition.
All Star: A versatile race board designed to perform in all environments, from flatwater to ocean chop. The All Star recently saw strong success at the 2025 ICF SUP World Championships in Abu Dhabi, earning six World Champion titles, including wins by Aaron Sanchez (Technical Race), Su Jong Lim (40+ Technical & Long Distance), Tatsuma Nishikawa (Junior Technical & Long Distance), and Andreas Kiousis Voulgaris (Junior Sprint).
Sprint:Focused on flat water performance, the Sprint is built for speed and efficiency, offering a clean glide and excellent responsiveness for paddlers chasing precision.
NEW Gen R: A next-generation all-water race board that blends speed, stability, and a smooth feel across varying conditions, bridging the gap between flatwater and open-water racing.
Junior: Scaled-down race shapes designed to support younger paddlers as they build skills and confidence in competition.
Wave SUP boards:
Go: A versatile all-round board for riders at any level, offering strong stability, smooth glide, and straightforward progression. Featuring a deep concave bottom and boxy rails, it provides solid balance and reliable tracking. The range includes wider boards for added stability and narrower models for more agility. Suited for flat water or light wind chop.
Go Surf: A compact, responsive take on the classic Go, designed for those who want to mix flatwater cruising with small wave riding. The Go Surf builds on the Go line with a simple, easy-to-use design that’s responsive in surf, lightweight to carry, and offers dependable glide and stability.
Whopper: The well-known board that opens SUP surfing to a wide range of paddlers by blending strong stability with surprising agility on waves. It’s popular among first-time surfers and heavier riders alike. The updated shape features thinner rails, a wing tail inspired by the Spice, and a refined rocker line, delivering improved manoeuvrability, speed down the line, and wave-catching ability. The raised nose helps with recovery, making it forgiving without sacrificing performance.
Surf SUP Boards
Wedge: A fast, reactive board with a narrow outline designed for dynamic rail-to-rail surfing and smooth carving. It balances maneuverability and stability, sitting between the Whopper and Spice in shape. At 32” wide, it delivers strong surfing performance across varied conditions while maintaining comfort for longer sessions.
Spice: Dubbed the ‘quiver killer’, this is a high-performance all-round surf board with a lively feel, built for tight turns and down-the-line speed. Combining power and flow, its beveled thin rails, wing tail, and concave bottom create sharp rail carving, impressive speed, and instant drive. A true quiver killer that blends performance and fun.
NEW TwinFin: A fresh design focused on speed and looseness, featuring a twin fin setup and modern surf-inspired shape. The pronounced hip behind the fins enables agile, skate-like turns, while the innovative channel tail boosts acceleration and helps with tail recovery during slides. Great for small to overhead surf, it offers a playful yet high-performance ride for intermediate and advanced surfers alike.
Pro: Built for experienced riders seeking precision, speed, and control in powerful surf. This multiple-world-championship-winning board features super-thin rails for excellent grip and comes in various sizes to match different waves and styles. Expect radical snaps, fast speeds, and incredible drive with the Pro.
Longboard SUP:Combines classic longboard glide with SUP stability for traditional-style surfing with smooth turns and nose rides. This versatile, responsive board is proven in competition and favored by riders worldwide, boasting multiple Best Performance Longboard awards and championship titles.
