Chase Kosterlitz and Shae Foudy win the NAC 20th Annual Hal Rosoff Classic in Newport Beach, California

This year marked the 20th annual of the classic and it was a great turnout.  With over 400+ people competing in various races, (SUP, OC-1, OC-2, Surfski, Kayak) paddlers were rewarded with a beautiful SoCal day with temperatures in the mid 70’s.  The SUP course was super competitive, with 115 people racing from the Newport Aquatic Center through the Newport Harbor and back.  

The course was 5.5 miles, seeing the likes of local Pros Chase Kosterlitz, Chuck Glynn, Anthony Vela, Dave Boehne, Brennan Rose and Shae Foudy –- Plus a handful of up and coming California locals were in attendance including Erika Benitez, Alexandria Higginson and Tyler Bashor.
