“This July the heart of SUP in Greece beats in Agios Nikolaos, Crete!”*: Agios Nikolaos On SUP returns for the 2023 as an ICF SUP World Cup and National Panhellenic SUP Championship event! Held on the 7-9 July 2023 in Agios Nikolaos overlooking the stunning Bay of Mirabello, the event will welcome professional and amateur SUP athletes from all over the world for a long weekend packed with exciting competitions and a grand prize pot of 9000€.
“We are excited to be able to work with our friends at Agios Nikolaos to organize another World Cup this season. The organizing committee is very experienced and we are sure our athletes will love competing in such a beautiful destination,” said Naomi Horvath, ICF SUP Committee Chair.

SUP board transfers from SUP Events in Central Europe and rentals are available via Sports Camps, the official partner of the International Canoe Federation (ICF) and is authorized to provide all types of boats and stand-up boards to competitors in the upcoming World Cups and World Championship events. HERAKLION: Heraklion International Airport “Nikos Kazantzakis” (IATA: HER, ICAO: LGIR) is just a 50-minute drive from Agios Nikolaos. It is serviced by KTEL of Crete (Cretan long distance bus company) which connects it to Agios Nikolaos and other parts of the island on a regular basis. You may also rent a car from almost all major car rental companies just in front of the airport
SITIA: Sitia Municipal Airport “Vitsentzos Kornaros” (IATA: JSH, ICAO: LGST) is just a 1-hour & 15 minutes drive from Agios Nikolaos. This modern airport serves numerous destinations in Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Greece. Local buses and car rental companies are located near the airport
CHANIA: Chania Airport “Ioannis Daskalogiannis” (IATA: CHQ, ICAO: LGSA) is about 3 hours away from Agios Nikolaos.
