The multiple women’s SUP Surf world champion, Izzi Gomez has just announced on her instagram account that she is leaving Starboard. We don’t know at this stage who her new equipment sponsor is going to be for 2018 onwards.
“I just want to start by saying thank you to Starboard for believing in me since day 1. Starboard gave me the opportunity 5 years ago to join the team, travel the world and launch my career in SUP. I will always be forever grateful for the memories I’ve made and the experiences I’ve had with Starboard. That being said, I will be parting ways with Starboard. Again, thank you for everything. ?? I’m really excited for this year, time to take on some new challenges!
