This remarkable win brings Izzi’s APP total to 12, which means this multi-talented and committed SUP athlete is overtaking Kai Lenny’s overall standing and putting her in a league of her own. The Barbados Pro provided one of the most exciting showcases of the year for stand up paddlesurfing, as the World’s best congregated at the World Famous Soup Bowl in Bathsheba for stop #3 of the APP World Surfing Tour.

Izzi Gomez has made history again, winning the inaugural Barbados Pro and clinching her 5th World Title, and this year, amidst the most competitive field yet on the APP World Tour, ahead of the Final event in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Vania Torresfinished in an impressive 2nd place in the Barbados Pro, propelling her up the leaderboard and giving her much needed momentum coming into the Gran Canaria Pro-Am.
Iballa Moreno has rediscoverd her 2018 form here in Barbados to finish in 3rd place, refueling her confidence as she heads back to her home for the World Championship Tour Final in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Starboard SUP Team Rider Shakira Westdorp continues her consistent streak, keeping herself in the mix and finishing in 4th at the Barbados Pro, stop #3 of the 2019 APP World Tour.
