In Bangkok, Trash Hero teamed up with Starboard and WeSUP to clean the areas of Bang Phli, around Wat Laung Por Toh Temple and the surrounding river. In total 2,500kg of trash were collected by over 200 people. The success of this event could lead to the organization of other Trash Hero in other cities.

Did you ever think collecting trash could be so much fun?
With the help of over 200 people, the areas of Bang Phli, around Wat Laung Por Toh Temple and the surrounding river were cleaned. 2,500kg of trash was collected, filling one and a half garbage trucks!
Thanks to the great efforts of Trash Hero, Starboard, WeSUP Thailand and everyone from the local communities, the first event of the Trash Hero Bangkok Chapter was a great success. Especially thank you to our sponsors: Multibax, Diab, Bang Phli Police and Wat Laung Por Toh.
We are looking forward to the next clean up, but for now let’s all do our part to keep Bangkok clean – reduce the amount of plastic we use, spread the awareness and pitch in to pick up.
