Last weekend on July 16th, the classic Maui 2 Molokai (M2M) SUP race took place in Hawaii. It goes without saying that it is one of, if not, the greatest downwind race in the world. Along with the Molokai 2 Oahu, the other highly anticipated downwind race, the M2M is one of the headlines of the Hawaiian “Downwind Month”.
On July 16th, top Stand Up Paddle athletes from all over the world were ready to take on this race. But in the end and for the 7th time in a row, it’s Connor Baxter who came out on top. As a matter of fact, he won all the editions of the M2M since its creation.
In case you want to know what the M2M looks like from the inside, here is a little highlight video of the event, including bits of the race and interview of some of the SUPers.
