The Taiwan Paddle Games have arrived! Last year winners, the Hasulyo brothers, followed by Tim Cyprien put this event on the map. This year the 2nd edition of the Taiwan Paddle Games (TPG) hosted by the Chinese SUP Sports Association takes place over the 4th and 5th May, with a whole range of race divisions are for all ages and classes! The Taiwan Paddle Games is the biggest paddling event in Taiwan! Plus paddle here and gain points for the SUP Racer ranking system!
The race weekend sponsored by Red Bull, Go Pro, Starboard and Kelme will host short and long distance events, as well as family friendly paddle events. The prize purse for both 1st placed male and female paddlers is 2000 us dollars plus a go pro hero 7! 2nd placed male and female athletes will win 1000 us dollars, and 3rd placed paddlers will get 320 us dollars.

The short distance will take place on the 4th May with a distance of 3 KM. The Pro Technical 12 KM will take place on Sunday the 5th.
Saturday 4th May will also have the Tiki Challenge events, testing paddles balance and buoy turns. The winner of the tiki challenge will win all the registration fees!
The day will end with a crazy Star Wars group race where teams of 7 have to race 3 KM on family boards provided by the sponsors Starboard. Get your team together now, because there is 265 us dollars up for grabs for the 1st placed team, 165 us dollars for the 2nd placed and 100 dollars for 3rd placed team. Teams must include at least 2 women paddlers!
The event is not just limited to SUP paddlers there will be a Prone race on the Sunday over a distance of 1 KM.
