LAST 2024 – Les Ailes de Saint-Tropez

Cette année, le format évolue pour devenir LAST 2024 – Les Ailes de Saint-Tropez : édition Downwind. 

Avec une « waiting period » pour profiter des meilleures conditions météo, permettant aux participants de naviguer avec le vent et les vagues, et pour certains, de voler littéralement au-dessus de l’eau sur une planche à foil !

Du 5 octobre au 3 novembre, la baie de Saint-Tropez sera le théâtre de nombreux événements marquants :

– 5-6 octobre : Finale du Tour Région Sud en wingfoil, où sera décerné le titre de champion régional,
– 18-22 octobre : Place aux jeunes talents internationaux en catamaran lors de la première édition de la New Gen 18. Les vainqueurs auront la chance de participer aux championnats du monde de catamaran F18 en 2025 !
– 18-21 octobre : Première en Méditerranée pour le SUP foil avec des compétiteurs du monde entier, un spectacle à ne pas manquer,¿
– 19-20 octobre : épreuve de stand up paddle downwind,
– 25-26 octobre : Retour dans les années 90 avec la compétition de windsurf, rendant hommage à la légendaire Transgolfe,
– 31 octobre – 3 novembre : Grande finale pour les kites, wingfoils, et windsurfers avec une course unique pour déterminer le grand vainqueur.

– shooting session et run d’entrainement jeudi après-midi dans le golfe de Saint Tropez (12h-18h)

Vendredi

-confirmation inscription retrait dossard vendredi 8h-10h

-10h briefing officiel

– vendredi downwind supfoil logistique bateaux / départ en mer sur un axe prévu Le Levant / Bastide blanche ( arrivée et distance modulable en fonction des conditions )

19 h Podium du jour / Apéritif offert

Samedi

Downwind Sup foil délocalisé à l’ouest en fonction des conditions météo OU embarquement en ocean 50fifty ( voilier de course ) pour tous  les inscrits en fonction des possibilités et du nombre final d’inscrits.

Dimanche : Sup race

– Dimanche après-midi ou lundi en fonction des manches réalisées jusque là , et des conditions downwind dramont/St tropez , possibilité de downwind si l’Est rentre un peu et adaptable en fonction de la météo

This year, the format evolves to become LAST 2024 – Les Ailes de Saint-Tropez: Downwind Edition.

With a “waiting period” to take advantage of the best weather conditions, allowing participants to ride with the wind and waves, and for some, literally fly above the water on a foil board!

From October 5 to November 3, the bay of Saint-Tropez will host numerous significant events:

– October 5-6: Final of the Tour Région Sud in wingfoil, where the regional champion title will be awarded,
– October 18-22: Spotlight on international young talents in catamaran during the first edition of the New Gen 18. The winners will have the chance to participate in the F18 Catamaran World Championships in 2025!
– October 18-21: First-ever Mediterranean SUP foil competition with competitors from around the world – an event not to be missed,
– October 19-20: Stand up paddle downwind race,
– October 25-26: A nostalgic return to the 90s with a windsurfing competition paying tribute to the legendary Transgolfe,
– October 31 – November 3: Grand finale for kites, wingfoils, and windsurfers with a unique race to determine the overall winner.

– Shooting session afternoon in the Gulf of Saint Tropez (12h-18h)

–  Confirmation registration / lycras/ trackers ( 5-8 pm )

–  First pre-briefing 7 pm

Friday

– 8-10 AM confirmation registration/ lycras / trackers

-10am official briefing

– Downwind Sup foil logistics boats/ departure open sea on a planned axis Le Levant island / Bastide blanche ( arrival and distance modulable according to conditions )

7 pm Podium of the day

Free Appetizer

Saturday

Downwind relocated to the west depending on weather conditions OR ocean 50fifty (sailing race boats ) for all registered depending on possibilities

19h/ Podium of the day

Sunday: Sup race

Sunday afternoon or Monday depending on the races achieved so far, and conditions downwind Dramont/ St tropez , possibility of downwind if the East comes back a little, all adaptable according to the weather

Award ceremony and supfoil appetizer on Sunday evening or Monday depending on the weather
