Welcome to the 12th race and the last stop of the 2023 Belgian SUP Tour (BST) held on Sunday, 17 December in the heart of Ghent, Belgium!
“This race is unique,” said Vincent Claeskens, Founder and the driving force behind the Belgian SUP Tour (BST). “It not only marks the end of a successful and exciting Belgian SUP Tour (BST) season, but also brings together amateur and elite competitors for the ultimate race experience in the run up to the Christmas weekend. All participants are invited to cruise through the Ghent canals. A Christmas costume is vital! The day ends with the award ceremony where the final rankings of the Belgian SUP Tour (BST) will be revealed. The BST 2024 programme will also be announced. We guarantee a warm atmosphere throughout!”
The last event of the year is dedicated to SUP4Life, a charitable initiative culminating with a Christmas SUP parade open to everyone, from beginner to experienced riders, with special focus on providing assistance to paddlers with diverse abilities.
All proceeds from the event will be donated via the King Baudouin Foundation, empowering organisations and citizens working to create a better society.
The event will kick off with the Long Distance Race in the morning (entry fee €15) followed by the Christmas parade in the afternoon. Both the morning race and the parade will pass through the beautiful city of Ghent.
