From 5’0 to 6’10, The SuperDW is a stand up paddle foil board especially designed for the practice of downwind but can also be used in waves and with a wing.
Its extremely generous Outline and volume due in particular to the rail height not only make it possible to reduce the length considerably but also to have more stability in choppy conditions.
The “plug” effect of this ultra compact shape allows you to take off very quickly. The lowered deck allows for more stability, provides more control in flight and offers more precision in the gliding phases.
Bevel rails and rocker nose are optimized to take a maximum cornering angle and forgive driving errors.
The double concave on the front half of the hull facilitates the early take-off as well as the re-launch during the “touches”.
The hull is flat at the housings for a neutral position of the foil.
Construction / Technology
High-end full carbon construction.
Each board consists of an expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam roll, covered with carbon / epoxy lamination, with high density foam reinforcements.
The advantage of EPS compared to a polyurethane (PU) is that at equal weight, it’s significantly more resistant. Above all, it has a larger memory of shape (compared to almost none for PU construction).
It therefore holds better in case of shocks and avoids the delamination of the laminated skin.
Carbon stratification provides great strength and rigidity for less weight than fiberglass.
