Welcome to the 45th International Tiber Descent 2024 from the 25th of April to 1st of May 2024

TiberTour or in italian discesa internazionale del tevere (d.i.t.),  is a yearly tour of several days of riverine outdoor tourism, which starts from Umbria and reaches the city of Rome. The Discesa Internazionale del Tevere (DIT).

You can either paddle it, cycle it or walk it! 

Program

The seven days Tiber descent is the main event and each year, in order to add new experiences, can change stages and locations. Always check the yearly DIT edition for information.

Stages of the descent
From the 25th of April to the 1st of May 2024, 7 stages from Città di Castello, in Umbria, to Rome.
P=Paddling / WW=White Water ; C=cycling; W= walking

25th of April
Città di Castello-Trestina- P (ww2,12km), C (30km), W (15km);

26th of April
Trestina-Umbertide – (ww2, 17km), C (22km), W (15km);

27th of April
Umbertide-Ponte Pattoli – P (ww2, 20km), C (32km), W (15km);

28th of April
Ponte Pattoli –Pretola – P (ww2, 10km), C (30km), W (10km) On wheel transfer

29th of April
Monterotondo-Settebagni P – (ww1, 19km), C (30km);

30th of April
City of Rome to the Aniene River to the Tiber – (ww2, 8 km), C (20 km), W (8km);

1st of May
Rome city center along the Tiber – P (ww2, 7 km), C (20km), W (6 km)

Registration
In order to participate to the activities and events of Tibertour, you need to be, first, a member of the association (sport club).

Cost of the descent
All 7 days- 25th of April to the 1st of May: 280€ (+ 15 € membership)
From the 25th to the 28th of April: 180€ (+ 15 € membership)
From the 29th of April to the 1st of May: 100€ (+ 15€ membership)
Single day from the 25th to the 29th: 50€ (+ 15€ membership)
Single day from the 25th to the 29th: 30€ (+ 15€ membership)

Reductions
– 50% under 18 y.o.
– 50% for carers of participants with disabilities
– Up to 50% for elderly people (based on yearly income)
– Up to 50% for students (based on yearly income)
– Up to 50% for low income (based on yearly income)- in this case there the need to write to scrivi@discesadeltevere.org within the 28th of February so to help the organisers in exchange.
