Take part in Super Tiber Run 2026, a five-day river adventure dedicated entirely to inflatables – SUPs, packrafts, inflatable kayaks, and canoes.
From Friday, 24 to Tuesday, 28 April 2026, paddlers will journey down the whitewater stretch of the Discesa Internazionale del Tevere (DIT), covering 111 kilometres from Sansepolcro to Casalina. Open exclusively to inflatable craft, this unique event blends sport, exploration, and camaraderie, following the Tiber through lively rapids, calm glides, and riverside villages. Each day ends with shared meals and simple accommodation hosted by local communities – an authentic way to experience the river’s flow, spirit, and connection.
Super Tiber Run 2026 route breakdown:
Please note: For each stage the following is indicated: the place of put-in; the place of take-out; the km to travel in water; the river difficulty (ww1-ww3).
The symbols ‘#’ and ‘^’ indicate the forecast of an overnight stay indoors (#) or in a tent (^) near the take-out.
The symbol ‘~’ indicates the possibility of dinner offered by local communities near the overnight stay.
Accommodation
Each evening, the group will stay near the river take-out point, with simple and practical accommodation options. Participants can sleep indoors on the floor in shared rooms or in their own tents nearby. Basic facilities, including toilets and, in some locations, showers, will be available. The focus is on comfort through simplicity —- resting close to nature and to the rhythm of the river.
Meal arrangements
Meals follow the flow of the journey. Breakfast and lunch are managed independently, with packed lunches enjoyed during a riverside break each day. Dinners are the highlight of the evenings — generous, home-cooked meals offered by local communities. These shared tables bring paddlers and hosts together to enjoy genuine regional dishes, warm hospitality, and stories from the day on the water.
Transport
A rental bus will provide daily transport for luggage and participants, ensuring smooth logistics between stages. For those arriving by plane, the organisation will help coordinate arrival and departure transfers upon request, making travel to and from the event as seamless as possible.
Participation is open to all members of the Discesa Internazionale del Tevere amateur sports association. The membership fee is 15euro/year. A medical certificate of fitness for sport is required.
The costs of accommodation, dinner, transportation will be shared: 250euro/pp.
Nautical equipment and camping equipment to be provided by the participant (rental possible).
