Madeira Island SUP Challenge

Don’t miss the Madeira Island SUP Challenge on 25th and 26th of Septembe, part of the Euro Tour circuit.

With the presence of six-time world champion Casper Steinfath, this event seeks to place Madeira Island in the European and world panorama of this sport.

As a novelty, this initiative offers prize money worth four thousand and five hundred euros, only to professionals, and will be an opportunity for the youngest and all those who want to progress in this type of sport, to compete on equal terms with the stars internationals this marathon event.

Madeira, due to its climate, water level, access to the sea and different spots with different characteristics is an attractive region for these practitioners, combining its welcoming nature and the good conditions it offers in the most varied services.

This event will have as partners the Diário de Notícias da Madeira, Madeira Tourism, Funchal City Council, Portos da Madeira and a number of other entities that have joined this event, which is scheduled to take place in the next three years in the region.
