Welcome to Taranto, Italy for the 2026 Lido Gandoli SUP Race, Stop #2 of the 2026 European SUP League, certified by the European Surfing Federation and organized by the SUP Academy Taranto.

From 1 to 3 May, Lido Gandoli in Marina di Leporano (Taranto) hosts the Lido Gandoli SUP Race — three days of top-level stand-up paddle racing set on the Ionian Sea, with over €7,000 in prize money.

The event is part of the European SUP League (ESL) circuit, while also counting as a stage of the FISSW Italian Championship and the FICK Italian Cup, making it an important event for national rankings and selection to the Italian Federcanoa Team.

Thursday 30 April:

10:00 – 12:00 | G1 – Technical Race (500-1000mt) FICK
12:00 – 17:00 | G2 – Technical Race (500-1000mt) ESL 3000euro MP

Saturday 2 May:
09:30 – 16:00 | G3 – Long Distance (3-6-10km) ESL / FISSW / FICK 3000euro MP
16:30 – 17:30 | G4 – Inflatable (3km) (inflatables) ESL

Sunday 3 May:
09:00 – 10:00 | D5 – Blue Mile (1.5km) ESL (amateur)
10:30 am – 12:30 pm | G6 – Sprint (200mt) FISSW

How to participate: Registrations will open from 2 April

Step One: Sign Up

Register online via the Google Form to guarantee a place in the competitions and receive all the useful information and the payment link. The first 100 registered will receive the event jersey as a gift.

Step Two: Choose which races to participate in

You can choose from Friday to Sunday which specialties to participate in, in compliance with your FICK or FISSW membership. To participate in ESL competitions you will not need a federal card but only competitive medical insurance.

For the categories U14,U12,U10,U8 :
1 SPECIALTY: 20euro
2 SPECIALTY: 40euro
3+ SPECIALTY: 60euro

For the categories U16, U18, open/senior, M40+, M50+, M60+ :
1 SPECIALTY: 55euro
2 SPECIALTY: 90euro
3 SPECIALTY: 105euro
