Chip and rider bag distribution will take place at Varadero Beach on November 9th and 10th.
November 9th: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
November 10th (event day): Pickup can also be done.
Board storage
All participants can store their boards in the monitored area at Varadero Beach, except for the Under 18 and Elite categories, which must place their boards in trucks that will be transported to the starting point at Urbanova Beach.
Boards can be left on Saturday, November 9th from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Each participant is responsible for labeling their board.
Note: If a participant cannot leave their board until the day of the race, they must drop it off at the starting points early in the morning and go to Santa Pola to the Rider’s Pickup point. We recommend arriving no later than 7:00 AM.
Board Transport
From 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, material storage will be available at Varadero Beach and the transport of Elite and Under 18 material will be handled by the SEUR truck.
Rider bags and covers will be stored in the organization’s truck, which will travel to the finish line so that participants can access their materials upon arrival.
Participant Transport to Starting Points
A bus will pick up participants PUNCTUALLY at 7:15 AM from the Vatasa parking area in Santa Pola, transporting those starting from Urbanova Beach to their designated starting points.
Important: Please be at the pickup point in advance because the bus will leave exactly at 7:15 AM. Be aware that most roads will be closed due to a runner’s race. We will inform you in advance about the best way to reach the pickup point.
A Zoom meeting for all categories will be held on Saturday at 8:00 PM. You will receive a link via email to access the platform.
Additionally, a briefing will be held at each category’s starting point as a reminder.
Required Equipment
All participants must use a leash and wear the event t-shirt over any other gear.
For Under 8, Under 10, and Under 12 categories, wearing a vest is mandatory. (The race director may announce that it’s recommended but not mandatory.)
Participants must be federated through FESurf or one of its affiliated federations.
For those who are not federated, a weekend insurance can be purchased through FESurf for €7.50, which must be processed at least 3 days in advance. Contact FESurf: comunicacion@parreswatersports.com.
For online registrants, we can facilitate the federation payment and processing.
The Rookie category does not require a federative license.
Finishing Line
At the Crono4sports finish line, participants must drop their boards and cross the line with their paddle in hand. Elite participants will receive a Finisher medal.
Prizes will be awarded after each race. Be attentive, as announcements will be made. The top three finishers in each category must stay in the awards area after the race.
Food distribution will begin at 1:30 PM at the organization’s tent.
Rookie Fun Category
Just like in the first edition, we bring back this more casual category. The goal is to introduce the SUP atmosphere through an accessible and fun event.
This will be a non-competitive 2.5 km race, where all participants will receive a Finisher medal.
The race will be organized by the Club and will be covered by its activity insurance. When registering, please indicate if you have a license (only for this category).
The club will provide inflatable boards (individual boards available for participants who reserve them in advance via the organization’s email).
Like all participants, you will receive a runner’s bag with an event t-shirt, refreshments, and food.
