Brought to you by Stoke on the Water LLC, Joel Yang and Bodie von Allmen, the Gorge Ultra Distance is an inaugural event set in the Pacific Northwest.
This 17-mile endurance challenge takes paddlers through the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, starting at Home Valley Park in Stevenson, Washington, and finishing in the protected waters of Bingen Harbor. The course is widely regarded as one of the most consistent downwind runs on the planet.
Timed during the peak of the season, the event is designed to maximise the chances of world-class conditions, with powerful winds and rolling bumps shaping the experience. While conditions are never guaranteed, this stretch of water remains one of the most iconic settings for downwind SUP racing.
Gorge Ultra Distance is an official stop on the USA SUP Northwest Regional Tour.Ā
