The European SUP season reaches a major milestone this October, as Spain hosts the European Surfing Federation European Championships – EuroSUP – in Melilla.
National teams from across Europe will line up across Sprint, Technical and Long Distance disciplines, with both individual and team titles on the line, while Spain returns as the defending European champion in the national teams category.

A board-storage solution in Almeria is planned to support teams who need help with board transportation. This creates the possibility of shipping or delivering boards ahead of the event and coordinating onward transport to Melilla.

Boards can be received from 23rd to 30th September. On the 30th of September the boards will depart from Almeria to Melilla arriving in Melilla on the 1st of October.
There are no official team hotels, special accommodation offers or accommodation booking deadlines for EUROSUP 2026. Teams are free to choose the accommodation that best suits their needs.

FORMAT Beach start. Total of 200 meters including a buoy turn- Finish line at the beach. Heats of 4 athletes.

1.8 km per lap – Rounds: 1 lap. Finals: 2 laps.
