Welcome to the 9th edition of the Czech Paddleboarding Cup at Lipno – Černá v Pošumaví, Camp Jestřábí
Get ready for 3 thrilling days of racing at the 2025 Czech SUP & ParaSUP Championships! Taking place on the stunning Lipno Dam—nicknamed the “Czech Sea”—this event debuts a new venue in scenic South Bohemia, just 20 km from the historic town of Český Krumlov. Riders will compete in three disciplines, with medal ceremonies after each race. The event is open to international paddlers, but only Czech athletes can claim overall national titles. This year introduces the prone category (up to 12’, men/women) for the first time. Don’t miss out—online registration closes July 14!

JUNIOR U18: Born 2007 or later
MASTER 40+: Born 1985 or earlier
SENIOR 50+: Born 1975 or earlier
VETERAN 60+: Born 1965 or earlier
iSUP: Inflatable up to 14’, all ages
SPORT: Inflatable up to 12’6″, Men/Women (no age groups)
Subcategory: paraSUP, board up to 12’6” with seat
KIDS U15: Any board up to 12’6”, born 2010 or later
Subcategory: iSUP up to 12’6”
YOUNG U12: Born 2013 or later
YOUNGEST U9: Born 2016 or later
DRAGON SUP TEAM SPRINT: 4 riders incl. at least 1 woman or child
Board available at the venue as part of the registration
Subcategory: PRONE
Any board up to 12′ in length, regardless of age. In the long distance discipline, it is possible to compete together with the OPEN or SPORT categories.
Points System:
OPEN + KIDS: 3000 points
SPORT: 500 points
CZECH NATIONAL TITLES 2025
Titles awarded based on total points from all 3 disciplines (Long Distance, Sprint, Technical) in the following categories:
Men/Women: OPEN (including Junior, Master 40+, Senior 50+)
KIDS U15 (including Young U12)
Point Requirement to Compete for the Title:
Adults: min. 1000 points in Czech Cup ranking
Kids under 15: min. 600 points in Czech Cup ranking
ČFSAS CLUB COMPETITION – July 18–20, 2025
Open to ČFSAS clubs with at least 2 athletes competing at the National Championships.
Each club may nominate 8 paddlers.
Each discipline counts the club’s 6 best results (max 2 per category).
In case of a tie, the highest point values determine the winner.
RULES
Races follow ČFSAS Cup rules & 2024 ISA Rulebook.
Drafting not allowed between:
Men and Women
Board and paddler
Kneeling:
Max. 5 strokes allowed after a fall
Buoy Turn Rules:
No blocking another athlete’s actions (paddling, turning, running)
If arriving simultaneously, the inside paddler (closest to the buoy) has the right of way
“Simultaneous” means no paddler leads by more than half a board
If one paddler leads by over half a board length, they can choose the line, even from the outside
Unsportsmanlike conduct results in penalties or disqualification.
Examples:
Causing physical harm
Using board, paddle, or body to obstruct others
Shouting false starts
Damaging equipment
Intentionally hindering others’ paddling, turning, starting, finishing, etc.

The nearest international airport is Linz Airport (LNZ) in Austria, just 1 hour away by car. Alternatively, you can fly into Prague Václav Havel Airport (PRG), located about 2.5–3 hours by car or 4–5.5 hours by public transport. From either airport, we recommend renting a car for the most convenient access.
