Seoul SUP Open / KAPP – APP World Tour

This year, the KAPP will host the prestigious APP World Tour in the heart of the Korean capital, Seoul, to celebrate the sport of Stand Up Paddle in all its forms.
Everyone is welcome! From first timers to SUP enthusiasts and International Professional Athletes, the weekend festival will be packed with competition, activities and entertainment, providing the opportunity for everyone to challenge themselves and have fun!

📍 Location: Seoul Jamsil Hangang Park Waterside Area and Waterside Park / Han River, 65, Hangaram-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul.

RACE CATEGORIES

> PRO
300m Technical Sprint Race
Tournament-based race split between Men and Women.
The Pro category is open to qualified athletes only.
9km Distance Race
Mass start race, Men and Women.
The Pro category is open to qualified athletes only.
Qualification Round
For athletes aspiring to reach the pro level.
Successful participants can compete with the Pros in both Sprint and Distance races.

> AMATEURS
300m Technical Sprint Race
Tournament-based race split between Men and Women.
First round position is randomly drawn. Subsequent positions by rankings.
6km Distance Race
Mass start race split between Men and Women.

> U18 (born in 2007–2008)
300m Technical Sprint Race
Tournament-based race split between Men and Women.
First round position randomly drawn.
3km Distance Race
Mass start race, Men and Women.

> U16 (born in 2009–2010)
300m Technical Sprint Race
Same format as U18.
First round position randomly drawn.
3km Distance Race
Mass start race, Men and Women.

> U14 (born in 2011 and after)
300m Technical Sprint Race
Same rules as U16 and U18.
3km Distance Race
Mass start race, Men and Women.

> Open 1.5Km Timing Course
This is a non-competitive time trial open to all ages, genders, and skill levels.
Ideal for self-assessment without racing others.

IMPORTANT NOTES

Register in the appropriate category. Mismatches will lead to disqualification.
Registration closes on June 23rd, 2025 (Monday).
After registration closes, no changes or cancellations.
You can choose to race in Sprint only, Distance only, or both (in the same category).
Participation in multiple categories (e.g., Amateur & U18) is not allowed.

BOARD RENTAL

For those not having a board to compete or that cannot bring their own to the venue,
the KAPP offers the possibility to rent both inflatable and hard boards.

LUCKY DRAW

A lucky draw event will be held during the Seoul SUP Open
and those who register and participate in the competition
(Technical Sprint Race, Distance Race or both) will receive a coupon to enter the lucky draw.
