The 2019 ICF Stand Up Paddling World Championships will be held in Qingdao, China, from October 24-27. Along with sprint, technical and long distance races, there will also be an inflatable race as well as juniors and masters events.

The 2 overall winnersβ men and women at the 2019 ICF SUP World Cup in Scharbeutz (GER) 7-8 September 2019 will be supported by the HOC as follow: β’ β¬ 800 contribution for flights; β’ Free accommodation during the access period (21-27 Oct.2019); β’ Free meals during the access period; β’ Free Participation fee for the World Championships.

Logistics
Accommodation
Three hotels are recommended by the organising committee: Inter-Continental Qingdao, Zhonghang Xiangtong Yacht Club Hotel and Marine Holiday Inn. These are the only three hotels which will be serviced by the airport transport and daily transfers to and from the competition venue. For more information check page 14 of bulletin 1. Airport Transfer
Airport transfers from Qingdao Liuting International Airport to one of the three registered accommodation venues can be booked during online registration process. If flight details are not known at this time, they can be added later, until 14 October.
Visas
Athletes who require a visa to travel to China should plan well in advance.
Tourist visas are suitable for participation in the competition.
If an athlete requires an invitation letter, they must submit the required information, plus a copy of their passport, in the online entry form. The Chinese Canoe Association cannot issue an invitation letter without the passport copy. Invitation letters can only be issued to competing athletes. Any other attending spectators such as family or friends should apply for their own tourist visa or apply through a travel agent. For any questions or concerns regarding visas please contact Mrs Jin.
