Prize Money Boost for ICF SUP World Cup #3 in Oklahoma City

More than $10,000 in prize money and all-expenses-paid trips to this year’s stand up paddling world championships in Poland will be up for grabs at the third ICF SUP World Cup in Oklahoma City in August.

The SUP World Cup 3 will form part of a paddling extravaganza at Oklahoma’s Riversport Centre. The World Paddlesport Festival will feature the ICF Canoe Sprint Super Cup, Red Bull Rapids, whitewater rafting and a world party festival.

Registration for the world cup will cover sprint, technical and long-distance entry. There will also be opportunities to participate in a SUP clinic with ICF world champion, Connor Baxter.

The USD 10,000 prize pool will be split evenly between men and women in the open divisions. First place will receive $700, with prizemoney for the top five placegetters. An added incentive will be the opportunity to receive an all-expenses paid trip to Gdynia, Poland, for this year’s world championships in September.

Age categories for the world cup, running from August 26-28, will be junior, open and masters 45+.
