The Carolina Cup is one of the most important Stand Up Paddle Races in the world for the simple that it marks every year the start of the international SUP racing season.
It is held every year in Wrightsville Beach, Wilmington, North Carolina. Since the creation of the competition in 2011, the Carolina Cup has grown to attract the world’s top SUP athletes but also many casual paddlers.

It’s really impressive to witness how the coverage quality improved from one year to another. But what is most remarkable is the increasing attendance over the years. It makes you wonder what the Carolina Cup will look like this year.
