During the weekend, the world’s elite of stand up paddle will provide the show while the more experienced will be able to measure themselves against them, and the novices will be able to learn with the initiations.
In order to make the Vendée Gliss Event a real celebration of other disciplines such as waterman, wingfoil and surf skateboarding will once again play an important role this year.
The race for the ocean, a race between 7 and 9 km open to all, marks a highlight for raising awareness about the protection of the oceans and raising funds for the benefit of associations.

Long Distance / Downwind
The highlight of the week-end !
Ranked APP WORLD TOUR, the Long Distance brings together the best international paddlers but also amateurs of long-distance effort.
To ensure the downwind the departure of the competitors is done offshore at about 12 nautical miles or about 22 kilometers from Saint Jean de Monts.
A race between the beach and ocean …
This 6 km TR requires dexterity and physical strength. The M-shaped course requires competitors to pass as close to the beach as possible before leaving for a second lap!
At every buoy, the ranking can change!
Vendée Gliss Event is also now a wingfoil event!
2 Wing Foil contest on the programme of the 2022 edition :

– un freestyle contest
