SUP RACE LIGNANO promises something truly special this year — it’s now an official International Canoe Federation (ICF) event, welcoming athletes from all over the world!
Two thrilling days of racing await on the sparkling waters of the Adriatic Sea:
> Saturday kicks off with a technical time trial, setting the pace for an exciting weekend.
> Sunday features the long-distance race, testing endurance, focus, and strategy.
But it’s not all about the competition — the weekend also includes fun races, Big SUP team battles, and a vibrant, festive atmosphere throughout.
Each evening, the iconic Tenda Bar becomes the heart of the event, hosting the pasta party and awards ceremony — the perfect moment to unwind and celebrate with fellow paddlers.
> 1000 m – TECHNICAL RACE
> 12 km – LONG DISTANCE
> 2.8 km – FUN RACE & BIG SUP TEAM
> ICF World Ranking: Junior, Open, 40+, 50+, 60+
> Amateur: Fun Race (single category), Big SUP Team (teams of 6)
> Age Groups: U12, U14, Junior (15–18), Open (19–39), 40+, 50+, 60+, Paracanoe
All races follow ICF 2025 and FICK regulations.
