About the event
The APP World Tour is back in London for the third time and this time it will be bigger and better than ever with its partnership with Canary Wharf Group. As well as bringing back much-loved features from our previous events, including our iconic race down the River Thames, we will be offering open racing and participation for all in this jam-packed weekend on the water as the World Tour and City Paddle Festival returns to the United Kingdom’s capital.
Whatever level you are at Stand Up Paddling, there will be something for you this summer in Canary Wharf. We will be hosting SUP Yoga lessons, youth clinics and introductory paddle sessions all weekend long, as well as open races for all ages and abilities on the Canary Wharf waterways. Not only will there be endless SUP action, but there will be a family-festival-feel as we feature, live mustic, entertainment and live sport all weekend as part of our City Paddle Festival. A full programme of SUP yoga lessons and introductory paddle sessions will be released 30 days before the event, which will all be FREE.
You will also be able to watch the Pros in action as they partake in the famous River Thames race and dyanmic sprints in Middle Dock as they battle it out for champion status of the London SUP Open and chase after the…. prize purse.
As part of our City Paddle Festival, we are hosting our corporate challenge, the Nautical Mile, for teams in the Canary Wharf complex. The Nautical Mile, new for 2022, is an immersive team building experience hosted in the heart of major cities around the world. Find out more information here.
